The caffeine revolution - What happened to flavored milk?

Perhaps I'm unique. Perhaps it's the fact that I have a very low sensitivity to caffeine. Perhaps it's my body's total aversion to coffee. But I've noticed something. A picture paints a thousand words...

More than half the flavored milk on these shelves is "iced coffee". This picture was taken in my local supermarket. The convenience store part of a local petrol station had 6 shelves of iced coffee and 1 of flavored milk.

Maybe I'm slow on the uptake, but it seems to me that all this caffeine can't be that good a thing. Course, the next cabinet in the petrol station freezer was chock full of huge cans of "energy" drinks. When they say, "energy" I'm tend to think it's a bit suspect. What is seems to mean is...

A belly and brain full of taurine and caffeine.

Now sure, we're all grown ups. We can eat and drink what we like. Sometimes everyone needs a pickup. I get that for sure.

But is anyone getting sleep?
